Better with Bacon!

But really — what isn’t?

Sauteed the bacon before crumbling on top of the eggs in the oven, a few minutes into the bubbling and browning of the parmesan / herb mixture.

I truly didn’t think that recipe could get any better!!

    Skipped breakfast & now I’m drooling. Do you use a special flavored bacon (maple-glazed etc)? Have to make soon.

    Okay, so now it’s confirmed that I will be making this for breakfast this weekend. EVERYTHING is improved by adding bacon!!

    Everything IS better with bacon. Except for bacon vodka, which I’ve rationalized that the 2 are so awesome apart that they cancel each other out when combined. Sunday breakfast idea, solved! This dish looks scrumptious. Thanks to you Chrissy my friends actually think I’m some kind of gourmet guru!

    My OCD kicked in and I NEED to know that the bowl of cheese-herb mix didn’t fall. Could you balance it in a more precarious placement for me next time? My anxiety thanks you.

    Joking aside, LOVE you and love that you take the time to entertain/teach us. Best of luck and continued success for the New Year…besides Pippa droppings on the couch, those can stay. =)~

      Haha I had to look at the bowl again and I myself had a bit of a “Oh yeah that looks pretty close to the edge…” moment.

      Anywho that last pic of the buttery soft egg white looks killer! I had a bruised banana for breakfast, so look forward to making this on Sunday for myself!!

    My wife slipped a disc yesterday and is pretty much immobile, which means I am now the master of the kitchen. Immediately I thought this would be perfect come Saturday morning, but really, why should I wait that long? Tonight’s dinner it shall be! With bacon of course, and a bottle of reisling…
